August 12, 2010

Glen Drover (MEGADETH, KING DIAMOND),Dan Mongrain (VOIVOD, MARTYR) and Jeff Potts (MANTIC RITUAL) have recorded guest guitar solos on the forthcoming debut album from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania progressive metallers HYPERION, entitled "Orchestrating The Myth". According to the band, "these guys laid down some incredible solos."

"Orchestrating The Myth" will feature cover artwork (see below) by Eliran Kantor, who has previously worked with TESTAMENT, SIGH, ANACRUSIS and GWAR, among others.

Commented HYPERION: "Eliran's work for this album is just detailed enough to be put in someone's art collection but unique enough to be put on a metal album. We couldn't be happier."

Songtitles set to appear on "Orchestrating The Myth" include:

* Inherent
* Into The Grey
* Bound By Decay
* The Brier
* To Write A Name In Wax
* Overseer
